About Me: Nikola Nestorovic`s Chess coach Journey
I’m Nikola Nestorović, an International Grandmaster and FIDE Certified Trainer with over 25 years of experience. My journey in chess started in my childhood, playing with my siblings and joining a academy to hone my skills.
I achieved the title of Chess Grandmaster in 2015 and became a FIDE Certified Trainer in 2018. I’ve competed in prestigious leagues across Europe and am currently a proud member of Sport Club Augsburg in the German First League – Bundesliga. One highlight of my career was playing against the 2021 Chess World Champion, Vishy Anand, which significantly enhanced my teaching skills.
I’ve authored books, including “Secrets of Positional Sacrifice” in 2022, reflecting my strategic understanding of chess. Recognizing the need for a comprehensive online platform for chess enthusiasts.
In 2023, I became the head coach of the Serbian National Champion team, contributing to the growth of chess in Serbia. My passion for chess extends beyond playing and teaching; I’m dedicated to inspiring and mentoring the next generation of players through Chess District.
